The Story

Thom Bargen's Manuel Vallecillo comes from Los Primos farm in Santa Barbara, Honduras, purchased by Manuel in 2010 after growing up working on his grandfather's coffee farm. With help from his cousin managing the farm, they placed 2nd in a national coffee competition in 2017, motivating continued experimentation and quality improvement. This Pacas lot undergoes 24 hours dry fermentation before washing, delivering notes of grapefruit, hibiscus, and dark chocolate. Purchased through friend Ben Paz who works closely with regional producers, this marks Thom Bargen's fourth year buying Manuel's coffee.
