Most coffee scales are designed for pour-over first and adapted for espresso second. The Rhino Stealth Espresso Scale is designed the other way around. Its low-profile, compact body is specifically sized to fit on most espresso machine drip trays — so you can weigh your shot in real time without lifting the cup off the drip tray or compromising your clearance beneath the portafilter. The IP65 water resistance rating means spills, condensation, and the occasional direct hit from the steam wand or group head won't damage the electronics — a meaningful protection spec for a scale that lives permanently in the splash zone of an espresso machine. No batteries: the Stealth charges via USB-C, so there's no replacing AAs mid-service.

Detachable Platform, Sloped Display, Brew Timer
The detachable extended platform is the Stealth's most distinctive feature — it adds 85mm of height and extends the working surface to 180mm wide, giving you the flexibility to weigh two espresso cups simultaneously or accommodate portafilter handles that would otherwise overhang a smaller platform. When you don't need the extension, it detaches and the scale returns to its compact profile on the drip tray. The sloped backlit LCD display is angled for readability from standing position — important when you're watching a shot pull and don't want to crouch to check the weight.
