Bench Top Waste Tube - 300mm tall. Commercial grade bench top knockout tube. Durability and stability were the main priorities in the design of this great coffee waste, well suited to domestic use. The Thumpa can literally take a thumping! Waste bins need to be able to withstand being hit, bashed and dropped without failing. Using high shock resistant plastics, the Thumpa's "durability tests" had it come out the other side with unbelievably great results. The flared collar allows for excess splatters to be easily captured. The slotted bar inserts allow for easy removal of the rod and rubber set for cleaning and maintenance The top is removable for easy emptying OR for use in conjunction with a waste bag. Sits 300mm high off countertop.

The Rhino Thumpa Bench Top Knockout Tube is designed from the other direction: built to commercial durability standards in a 300mm benchtop format that works in both domestic setups with high shot volume and lower-traffic commercial environments. The shock-resistant plastic construction — the same material thinking behind the Thumpa Large — is engineered to absorb the daily impact of espresso knocking without cracking, splitting, or losing structural integrity over time. The flared collar at the top captures splatter during knocking, keeping the surrounding bench area cleaner.
Removable Bar, Removable Top, Waste Bag Compatible
The knock bar sits in a slotted mount that allows it to be removed easily for cleaning and maintenance — no tools required, and no residue building up in a fixed bar housing that can't be accessed. The top of the Thumpa lifts off for direct emptying into a bin, or the tube can be used with a compatible waste bag liner, allowing the grounds to be lifted out and disposed of without tipping the tube. The 300mm height positions the knock bar at a comfortable working height on the bench surface. For the Thumpa 300mm, the Rhino Thumpa Replacement Rod ($11) and Rhino Thumpa Rubber Sleeve ($10) are the wear-part replacements for the knock mechanism, both available separately at Coffee Addicts.
