The Story
Rhino™ Coffee Gear Spinjet Spray Assembly with actuator plate.
The new spinjet valve sprays and spins at the same time creating a more robust mechanical cleaning action than normal rinsing valves. It is ideal for plungers using tea & coffee grounds, milk and other residues that tend to hold firm.
Suitable upgrade to most spray mechanisms and pitcher rinser spray assemblies.
Connection: External 1/2" thread, recommended install parts John Guest CI321214S & John Guest CI221212W
Please note: If you are retro-fitting the Rhino Coffee Gear spray assembly to a current rinser with drain tray, we recommend seating the actuator plate under the drain tray to ensure full and correct action can be achieved when depressed.
Cold water use only
A Stronger Clean Than a Standard Rinser Valve
Standard pitcher rinser spray valves work by directing water upward into the vessel — effective for quick milk pitcher rinses, but less so for stubborn residues that cling to the sides of plungers, tall cups, or anything with tea grounds, coffee grounds, or baked-on milk. The Rhino Spinjet Spray Assembly addresses this directly: the Spinjet valve sprays and spins simultaneously, combining vertical water flow with a rotating horizontal jet that creates a mechanical scrubbing action against the vessel walls. The result is a more thorough clean with each press, particularly for vessels that would otherwise require additional manual rinsing or brushing.
Upgrade for Existing Rinsers — Connection and Install Notes
The Spinjet Spray Assembly is designed as an upgrade for existing rinser setups — suitable for most spray mechanisms and pitcher rinser spray assemblies with an external ½" thread connection. The kit includes both the Spinjet valve and the actuator plate. Recommended install parts for connecting to the water supply: John Guest CI321214S and John Guest CI221212W. If retrofitting to a current rinser with a drain tray, Rhino recommends seating the actuator plate under the drain tray rather than on top of it — this ensures full and correct actuation when the plate is depressed. Skipping this step is the most common install issue with retrofit setups, so it's worth confirming before finalising the assembly.
Where It Fits in the Rhino Rinser Range
The Spinjet Assembly is the performance upgrade component, not a complete rinser unit. If you're setting up a new rinser rather than upgrading an existing one, the Rhino Spinjet Pitcher Rinser 300mm and 600mm models include the Spinjet valve built in from the factory. For compact setups, the Rhino x Caffewerks Mini Spinjet is the most recent generation and includes a Spinjet valve with up to 30% water savings compared to earlier rinser valves. For replacement parts specific to existing Spinjet units, the Rhino Spinjet Wobble Washer is available separately at Coffee Addicts.
