Rhino Coffee Gear Spinjet upgrade allows you to easily turn your standard Rhino Coffee Gear spray assembly into a Spinjet option. Simply unscrew the current shower and screw on the spinjet.
The Spinjet upgrade valve sprays and spins at the same time creating a more robust mechanical cleaning action than normal rinsing valves. It is ideal for plungers using tea and coffee grounds, milk and other residues that tend to hold firm.
Spinjet Performance Without Replacing Your Rinser
If you have an existing Rhino pitcher rinser with a standard spray assembly, the Spinjet Upgrade converts it to Spinjet performance without replacing the entire unit. The process is as straightforward as it sounds: unscrew the current shower head from the spray assembly, and screw on the Spinjet valve in its place. No additional plumbing, no new drain tray, no bench cutting. The Spinjet valve then delivers the same spray-and-spin mechanical cleaning action found in the RHPR600-S, RHPR300-S, and RHPR150-S Spinjet rinsers — combining a vertical spray with a simultaneous rotating horizontal jet that creates cleaning action against the vessel walls rather than just directing water upward. This is particularly effective for stubborn residues that a static spray doesn't fully dislodge: tea grounds in plungers, dried milk in pitcher interiors, and coffee oils on vessel walls.
Up to 30% Less Water, NSF Certified
The Spinjet valve uses up to 30% less water than standard rinser valves — the rotating mechanical action does more cleaning work per unit of water, reducing the total volume needed per rinse cycle. This adds up meaningfully in a high-volume café environment where the rinser is activated dozens or hundreds of times per day. The Spinjet Upgrade is NSF certified, confirming it meets food equipment safety standards for commercial food service installations. Cold water use only.
How It Differs from the Spinjet Spray Assembly & Actuator Plate
Two Spinjet retrofit products are available at Coffee Addicts and it's worth understanding which applies to your setup. The Spinjet Upgrade (RHSPINUPGRADE, $93.50) is the valve only — it replaces the shower head on an existing spray assembly and is the right choice when your current actuator plate and assembly are already in place and functioning. The Spinjet Spray Assembly & Actuator Plate is the fuller retrofit kit that includes both the valve and a new actuator plate, recommended when retrofitting a rinser that doesn't have a compatible actuator plate, or when the existing plate needs replacing. For ongoing valve maintenance after installation, the Rhino Spinjet Valve Service Gasket Kit (RHSPVSK-01) covers routine gasket and spring replacement.
